1979 Rover SD1 3500 V8 Rare in VIC for sale

Panel Restoration Project - Complete Original Car - Mechanically Good.
1979 ROVER SD 1 V 8 3500 Hatch with great V 8 Sound.
Borg Warner 65 Auto Transmisssion - powerful and smooth.
Rover 3. 5 Litre V 8 Engine with Twin SU carbies.
Power assisted rack & pinion steering.
Engine runs excellent but requires minor maintenance - incl carbie clean - due to storage and non-use for 10 yrs.
Has some small patches of rust out and holes on various side panels and windscreen base.
See scans.
Also surface rust on roof and bonnett that has been rust treated - cause = original poor paint process at factory.
Have replacement new rear LHS qtr panel to go with car if needs to be used worth $500.
Interior is original and good - interior clock also works.
Tyres good. Windscreen rel new.
Owner was going to restore but does not have time. funds or space.
No rego but have original number plates- requires RWC.
Car is with second owner.
Car drives like a dream. Serious buyers should inspect car.
These Series 1 cars are now very rare and collectors items.
