Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a Series 1 240z number #92. As the photos show this car would suit an enthusiast as it needs a full restoration and rust repairs. the car overall is very straight for the age and does not appear to have any past accident damage to the undercarriage. nose cones (still bears the factory fibre glass nosecone surrounds) and rear. It has had a closed door respray at some stage. The roof is the main area which has rust. I have another complete roof that will go to the purchaser of the car to fix it. the doors. bonnet and front guards are all reasonable and fixable. the hatch will need replacing. It is sitting on a set of 16 inch genuine simmons wheels that need some TLC
A worked L28 is powering the car which was built by a renowned Z mechanic within Australia. it has the l28 F54 block with a P90 head. Tripple webbers. cam and an exhaust with a good note. the car does run and move under its own steam . the brakes will need attention as they currently do not work.
Inside needs attention as it has weathered with age. it is missing the rear cargo plastic trims which are able to be bought new now and some other miscellaneous parts. The major items such as the speedo. different air vent. hand choke and throttle and the visors which are in good condition along with the hood lining are all their. The seats are the early style and will need recovering.
Unfortunately the time has come to sell this iconic Z car which I had no intention of Selling. how ever we have other cars (2 other Z's) and we need the space. This car is not for the faint hearted given the work that needs doing. but has good bones as what you see is what you get and not bogged or plated roughly like most other cars have suffered. Given the rareness of a series 1 and a car that is below #100. opportunities like this do not arise often and prices for these classics are still rapidly rising. I do have other photos so please feel free to message me IF YOU ARE GENUINE and I am happy to discuss the car. Please ONLY contact if you are interested in purchasing the car.
