1957 Chevrolet 3100. Short Bed Pickup. 350 ci V 8 Auto. IFS

- Up for sale I have a very cool 1957 Chevrolet 3100. small back window. short bed pickup.

- The pickup has a great running 350 ci V 8 and turbo 350 auto trans. The engine seems mostly stock accept for an alloy inlet manifold. 4 barrel Edelbrock carb. new distributor. leads. coil. plugs. headers. polished rocker covers. air cleaner. It also has a large aluminium radiator with twin thermo fans. This truck has power steering. power disc brakes on the front and drums on the rear. it has a new master cylinder and booster. The engine and trans has been rebuilt at some point and runs and shifts fantastic.

- The pickup still has factory chassis rails with later model GM independent front suspension with coil springs. the chassis work has been done well. It also has a Camaro 10 bolt diff in the rear with lowered leafs and shackles.

- The body is all original and all steel including all fenders and steps. The truck is very solid with no rust issues. the cab corners. bottoms of doors. bonnet and floors are all solid and rust free. It was purchased from LA and as a result the underside is nice and dry and clean. The age of the paint is unknown but the paint finish is nice and tidy and shows very well. it is not a show paint job but is great as a weekend cruiser. The truck also has some very cool hand painted yellow and orange pin striping and highlights throughout.

- All the chrome work on the pickup is in fantastic condition especially the bumpers and grill. The bed of the pickup has the factory style wood with a red veneer. which is in good condition with nice polished bed stripes. A polished custom alloy fuel tank has also been mounted in the bed. All the glass is in good condition.

- The interior of the pickup has been tastefully retrimed. with custom trimmed seat. headliner. door panels and kick panels. The original dash has been left untouched and uncut. the original gauges have been replaced with all new gauges which work great. It has a Lokar floor mount shifter. Lokar throttle pedal and cable. new brake pedal assembly. and a chrome Ididit tilt column. It also has new carpet.

- Everything on the truck works great. the wipers have been upgraded with a new wiper motor. transmission arms. and wipers. It has new LED tail lights. new park lamps. and new headlights.

- The truck has a nice set of red 15” smoothie wheels. with nice chrome moon caps and trim rings. It also has good. near new tyres all round.

- Located on the Gold Coast QLD. happy to ship at buyers expense.

- The pickup is being sold as is where is with an Australian Import Approval. the pickup is not currently registered. all deposits are non refundable.
