This is a very original Series 2 (not 2 a) Land rover 88 which has only done 105. 00 miles from new.
First owner had it for 50 years.
Lots of original features :
Original petrol engine
Original elephant hide seats.
3 bolt tailgate.
Original registration and metal number plates with raised letters.

The chassis is good and the bodywork is generally straight. And the back tub not dented which suggests that it has a fairly easy life.
I have had the car for around two years and done around 12. 00 miles. So everything works.
The driver footwells will need doing at some point but I have the correct ribbed ones that will go with the sale. The car has been painted at some point in its life but is now wearing away showing the original paint underneath and the bare aluminium.
The car has new leaf springs and shock absorbers
The car has an MOT.
