DRB SABRE Mk II
Up for auction is my unique handbuilt DRB SABRE Mk II is a replica of a classic 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT. fully supported by an Engineers 'Vehicle Modification Report'.
The solid fibreglass body is one of the last manufactured by DRB Enterprises (Qld). with a total of only 65 ever produced. and only a handful of those still surviving today. making this a very rare and unique vehicle.
The fiberglass shell to fitted to a 1973 VW floor pan. making it safer than most equivalent vehicles on our roads. with a total vehicle mass of only 800 kg for superior manoeuvrability.
The rear-mounted engine is a Nissan 4 cylinder naturally aspirated OHC 1590 CC for maximum performance and fuel economy with automatic gearbox which needs attention however vehicle is supplied with a fully serviced replacement gearbox included in sale. brakes and sports suspension. with Globe alloy mag wheels and low profile tyres.
Fully customized wiring and electrical system with stylish sporty interior with comfortable bucket seats. sound system. and tinted windows.
Finished in premium 2-Pack polyurethane "Red Hot" paint to give a tough and stunning protective skin to compliment the beautiful curves and Italian styling.
The vehicle drives very well and gets attention where ever driven.
