1966 FIAT 850 ABARTH OT BY RADBOURNE RACING. GREAT CAR. ONLY 31424 MILES FROM NEW.

This fantastic 1966 Fiat 850 (chassis 0408913)was sold by Tilleys Fiat in Brighton and was 1st registered on 5th July 1966 to Miss Mathews of Hove. Sussex. The car was dispatched to the Lincoln Small at the UK Abarth agents Radbourne Racing of Wimbledon to be 'Abarthised' and was fitted with an Abarth four branch exhaust manifold. Abarth sump. bigger carb. . wider wheels. lowered suspension. wood rim steering wheel. the large Abarth front panel badge. the nice Campione Del Mondo wing badges. the Abarth rear badge. the OT body badge and a full length webasto style sun roof. All these items are still on the car except the carb that has been replaced with a more road useable Fiat 850 Sport one. The V5 document shows only one owner until 1994 when the current owner purchased the car. Both owners have used the car sparingly and it has recorded only 31. 24 miles in 50 years. Old MOT's back to 1997 show the cars mileage then at 29381 so only 2000 miles by the current owner. The car was restored and repainted in the original colour of Blu Scuro back in 1997. The car was inspected some years ago by Abarth specialists Middle Barton garage who confirmed that it is a Radbourne Abarth and at the time wanted to purchase the car. The car remains in very good but not pristine condition. The paintwork is good but has a few small blemishes as should be expected on 20 year old paint. The chrome bumpers shine well but have some pitting in them. Inside is very good with the seats in excellent condition. The car has been fitted with a map reading light. electric screen washers. a pod mounted Smiths 10. 00 rpm rev counter and a volt meter. Just passed a fresh MOT with no advisories. If you are looking to enter the Abarth world at a sensible price then this could be the car for you!
