VAUXHALL NOVA 1.4 SR 3DR HATCHBACK ( VERY RARE) GENUINE 39000 MILES FROM NEW

Here we have an Extremely Rare Vauxhall Nova 1. 4 SR. Facelift) In Totally Original Condition. This car has NOT Been Modified/ Molested in any way shape or form it is. as It was when it left the Factory some 25 Years Ago. I doubt very much if you will find another example like this one. I have looked everywhere and have not been able to find another example that is Totally Standard. I even went to the VBOA National Rally @ Great Billing in Northampton today. and could not find another example like this one. plenty of Sports. Gse. Gsi. and other's in the line up. I have constantly looked on here. Gum Tree. Auto Trader. Piston Heads. and numerous other places and have not been able to find another one. According to the Website. How Many Are Left. It states on there that there is only (1) 1991 SR with the 1. 4 Litre Engine. that is known. so Perhaps this is the Only one left. what I do know as stated. I think you will be hard pushed to find another Example that is Totally Original.

So what is the History of  J705 PRU. Well it was registered to a Vauxhall Main Dealer down in Bournemouth on the 04/11/1991 probably as a Demonstration car. for 2 months & 2 weeks. it was then Sold on the 17/01/1992 to its 1st Private Owner. a Lady in Wimborne whom kept the car for 6 years. until it was sold to the 2nd Private Owner. on 26/05/1998 who lived in Bournemouth. but then had it re registered to another address in Amersham in Buckinghamshire.

 The Nova Still has its Original Dealer Number Plates. and  Dealer Tax Disk Holder. Unfortunately the Dealer  Iford Bridge Motors. ceased to Trade some year's ago. Ironically I worked I Lived and Worked in  Bournemouth During the late 80's early 90's  and knew this Dealership very well. I acquired the car approximately 3 years ago. but never registered it in my own name as I am a Motor Trader. So there we go a Main Dealer and just 2 Private Owners from New. No lets see you find another one to Match That !!!

The Car has just 39000 Miles on the Clock. and Although I have not owned the car all of its life. I am selling it as Genuine Miles. as the Condition of the Interior. speaks volumes. the pedals have little wear. the carpets are like new. the Seats are all intact. Including the Bolsters on the Front Seats. the drivers foot well Mat is unmarked. all controls. steering wheel ect have no ware. I doubt if the Back Seat has even been sat in. NO in my Opinion as a Motor Trader for the past 30 Years. this car is a very genuine example. and as stated I think you will be very hard pushed to find another especially with only 2 private owners. and that as much as anything increases the value on this car.

The car comes with 2 Original keys. The Central Locking works fine ( No Remote. was around in them day's) it has Electric Window's Front. and a Factory Fitted Tilt/Slide Sunroof. which is stiff on sliding. probably lack of use. It also comes with a Book Pack. Owner's Handbook etc.

When I acquired the car. the Paint work was in a poor state. so I had it fully re- sprayed in its Original Colour. I also gave it a Full Service. and had the Cam Belt Changed. The Tyres had perished (lack of Use) so I had a Brand New Set Fitted. The Engine ran very rough and was difficult to start. as clearly it had been left with Fuel in it and standing for a long time. so I had the Carburettor fully Re conditioned by a Carburettor Exchange in Leighton Buzzard (Very nice and knowledgably people to deal with ) It now starts and runs sweet. The Bodywork as you can see is lovely. there is No Rot on this one. and the Sills are all intact and original. I meant to get it under sealed. The nearside Headlamp is dark as inner chrome has worn away. but this does not affect the lights and has not been mentioned on the MOT's. The car is fitted with a Piranha Alarm. but is disconnected as I don't have the fob. The Windows all-round are Data Tagged.

The 2nd Owner who bought the car in 1998 only used it for 6 years. up until 2004. when it was taken off of the Road. and stored away not to be seen again for nearly 10 years. when I acquired it. I did my bit paint. cleaned up the whole car. interior carpets etc. and then I stored it away for 3 years. but I have recently lost my storage facility. and so there for I have no where for the car to go. and it would be sacrilege  to leave it outside. so now it need's to go to a New Home. where it will be looked after and cherished. and I do hope who ever buy's this car. keep's it in its Original Condition.   The car to really finish it off. need's the Engine cleaning up and engine bay painted. I would have done this in time.

Had I not lost my Storage Facilities. I would keep this car. and would not being putting it on here.

I know there will be a lot of Interest in this car. so please feel free to ask me any Sensible Question's that you may have. There is NO BUY IT NOW. I have good Feedback because I am Honest. and also give good Descriptions of what I am selling. I am not here to mislead anyone. Under Ebay Rules I will consider Part Exchange as Part Payment.

I am re-listing for a 4th and Hopefully last time. My Terms of Sale are very simple. all I ask Is that the Winning Bidder make contact within 24Hrs of the Sale Finishing. and that the car is Paid for and collected within 5 days. I really do not think that is too much to ask for. its not like  some people who demand a 200 deposit and collected within 2 days.
