The car was first registered in 1970 which makes it 46-years-old.

It is is great condition for its age and is in regular use.
It has recently been updated:
replacement galvanised chassis (genuine Lotus)Rebuilt engine (rebuild approx 12000 miles ago)Solid drive shafts (Lobro joints instead of unreliable donuts)Aluminium radiator (keeps the engine cold in all weathers and in traffic)NODIZ ignition: it doesn't use a distributor but the unreliable. hard-to-get-at one is included Rare wide windscreen surround with a new windscreen Webasto sunroof MX 5 seats: much more comfortable and supportive.

The original ones can be included. Adjustable Avo shock absorbers. New Uniroyal tyres. 12-month MOT can be included. The car is smart enough to be proud of but not so pristine that it's a constant worry!
The car is currently in the Charente. France but will be brought to England early in September and can be viewed in Malvern.
