1983 Mercedes-Benz 300-Series W123 300TDT 300TD turbo diesel wagon

Today i am listing this 1983 Mercedes 300 TD turbo diesel station wagon . This gorgeous car was finished in " Classic white" (MB color code 737 ) with Palomino color leather interior . Most of these cars had the MB-Tex interior and just very few came with the optional leather interior . The white and beige is a gorgeous color combination and i get compliments on it . whenever i drive it . Another rare option was the 3 rd row of seats in the back . When i pick up my son from school . he and his friends always argue about . who may sit in the back . so they can wave at people behind us . It is very practical and you can safely transport 7 people .

The body of this car is in nice condition with mostly the original paint and just minor rock chips and a couple of small dings from 33 years of careful use. This car has never been in any kind of accidents and it presents very well. It was mostly covered or garaged and the very clean interior will attest to that. The carpets are clean and there are no rips or tears in the seats . The leather is still soft and in wonderful condition. The original dash is still perfect and even the wood console and accents are in great shape. I did upload many more pictures and they can describe this gorgeous Mercedes much better than i can.

The original radio still works . with the power antenna going up and down . All the windows and door locks work the way they should . The AC has just recently been converted and it blows cold from all the vents. This car has always been maintained well and it shows when you drive it . There are only 158 k miles and this wagon has plenty of power on the freeway or in town . I recently went on a 1000 mile nonstop trip without any problems. I was constantly cruising with 85 miles per hour and still got 27 miles per gallon of diesel. After that i dropped it off at my mechanic and had him go through the whole car . The following work has been done to it within the last month .

- new vacuum actuators on 3 doors- new AC compressor- new air cells for the self leveling suspension- new shifter bushings - new hood insulation pad - new front windshield ( due to a rock chip on the freeway) - fluids and filters with a complete service- valve adjustment- new battery ( 3 months ago )
This car always starts up right away . has great pick up and shifts smoothly through all the gears. I would not hesitate to take it on a trip across country at a moments notice . I could not think of anything it needs. It comes with all the books. a clean Carcheck. 2 keys and a clear title.

This would be a wonderful wagon for somebody who likes classic cars . but needs them to be very dependable . This 300 TD has been kept up very well and 158 k is considered low mileage for this kind of car . Even for a collector this 300 TD could work . You just do not see them very often this clean and even less with leather AND a 3 rd seat .

Please have your funding in order and do all your " due diligence" BEFORE placing a bid. I would prefer to sell this Mercedes locally to somebody who could actually come out and see it / test drive it . But i would also be helpful with shipping arrangements or an airport pick up for out of town buyers. This is a wonderful 33 year old classic car and it will be sold WITHOUT a warranty " as is " and " where is ".
