You are bidding on a 1962 MGA MKII - 'Sebring Clone'. finished in sunset orange with the distinctive Sebring white accents. the interior is black with tan seats. This MGA is part of my personal collection of MG's. I am selling it along with several other sports cars as the time has come to reduce the collection to a more manageable size.

This MGA has NOT been modified for vintage racing & has never been raced. it is simply a stock MGA that been given a Sebring paint scheme. front bumper removed. Le mans style cut-down windshield installed. three driving lamps mounted & 2 ear knock-off adapters added to the stock disc wheels. All parts removed are available & come with the sale (convertible top. windshield. side curtains. front bumper). This car could be put back to a stock MGA with very little effort.

Originally a black car with red interior & remained that way until 1974 when the second owner bought the MG & gave it the 'Sunset Orange' paint job that it still sports today. The paint job was driver quality acceptable for the time. I have since had the paint touched-up (close a match possible) & buffed out to minimize the ravages of time. new fender piping installed & the white accents & decals added. so only one respray since new.

The body is solid & the frame is straight with no rust through or repairs done of any kind (surface rust only). All of the door jambs. engine compartment. under bonnet/boot lid & boot show the original black paint with minimal or no rust showing at all.

The 'A' runs strong with only 56 K miles on the odometer (cannot be verified). the clutch operates as it should (disengagement at top of travel with little pedal movement). The transmission is tight with all synchro's working flawlessly. The engine does not burn oil & the oil pressure is 50+ when running at highway speed hot (it does drip some oil). The brakes work well no grabbing or pulling to any side. all of the hydraulic systems have been rebuilt including new flex hoses. The interior is in excellent condition having received new carpet (with proper lift-the-dot fasteners). new door/kick panels & cock pit rails in 2010. The seats received new tan vinyl seat covers in 1974 & are in good condition (foam backing starting to deteriorate).
