Whilst the UK was supplied with the Cologne 2. 8L engine . South Africa and the Southern Hemisphere were supplied with the wonderful 3. 0L Essex carburettor V6 . This is one of the most famous engines Ford has ever produced and was manufactured and supplied for Ford South Africa for over 25 years.

 

So what is the 3. 0 GL Executive ?

This was the upper management big Ford with power steering and other luxury finishes.
