1990 BENTLEY Turbo R BLUE No Reserve

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>No Reserve<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<< This Classic Bentley Turbo R is being sold on behalf of a family friend. who has owned the car for approximately five years and had the intention of running a wedding service. however circumstances did not allow this to happen and it has been sitting ever since. The car is located in Ashford Kent and not Sheerness as advertised. I have had a quick look over the car myself and although i have an idea of what it will need to be restored. I believe there are things i may have missed. so I strongly recommend that you view the car yourself for a more detailed assessment. Viewing can be arranged by request. There is a full service history over two service books until 2009. the mileage at last service on 23/01/09 was 105900. the current mileage is 112445. Only approx 7 K since last service. What i can see it needs: It was taken off the road in 2011 due to the failure of the offside rear active ride valve sphere. old one is removed and in the boot. Due to this there is no fluid in the system. The engine starts easily on jump cables and ticks over and revs quite nicely. although it will need a complete service including a battery and leads (a slight miss can be heard as one of the nearside leads arcs every now and then). There is rust present on both rear arches and both front wings and a fair amount of lacquer missing in some areas (See pics). As far as I could see there is no major rust to the underside of the car or to any of the structural points (again I suggest having a look yourself). Even though the bodywork would benefit from some rust treatment and respray. this may not necessarily be needed for an M. O. T. The windscreen motor has been removed and is not present. The tyre`s need attention as none of them hold air for a long period of time. i think one goes flat over a day and the rest over a week or so. Headlights need cleaning/replacing?Good bits: It's a Bentley! From what i can tell everything else on the car seems to work fine. the electrics are good Controls/Lights/Seats/Dash/AC etc. The body panels look straight and the underside looks rot free. The Interior does show some signs of age but it is quite clean and the tanned leather looks good. it's also fitted with two rear passenger televisions and a dvd player. all of which are working well. The engine sounds nice (Powerful) and engine bay looks solid. the Exhaust sounds good. All the windows are in good condition.

There is a current full V 5 document and it's Sorn with the DVLA. There were No advisory`s on the last M. O. T. dated 28 th April 2011. Overall this is a very nice Classic Bentley Turbo R that will need a little work to get it back to its former glory!This is just my opinion so I strongly recommend viewing the car before bidding to get a more detailed assessment for yourself. I have only pointed out what i could see. good or bad!Please bear in mind that even though this car is running. it will need removing via tow truck and can Not be driven away.
