Here we have a 1948 Austin 16 Saloon in Black. its a lovely old car. I have been restoring in my spare time. but I am running out of space at the minute and also time. the Austin is almost complete and would be a superb show car for someone. I bet there are not many left. I have a number of instruction books. as Austin used to call them. I even have the Registration book. which is dated 1948. the Austin is from another age. its got a certain appeal. its a very genuine car. I have spent a lot of time and money on the Austin. but I have too many projects on the go and I am just not getting them finished. the Austin would be ideal for someone to finish the last items and have a lovely British built time warp Austin. its a very traditional 4 door saloon car. it has the suicide doors and even trafficators. its a very solid car. it benefits from new tyres in the past. which have hardly had any road use. I have carried out paintwork. I have even managed to replace the rubber covers on the running boards. I strongly recommend to come down and view. take a drive. its a true classic.

The Austin would require transporting away. as its not been out on the open road for a number of years. I have regularly run it around my workshop and car parks. I can offer delivery. please contact me for costs.

Just a few other jobs i forgot to mention. i have had all the wheels powdered coated. i have just recently. had the fuel tank fully flushed out. i have then had the fuel tank fully repaired. including a full rebuild and re-seal. i have then also had a new filler neck. to tank hose fitted.
