Rare 1966 911 . Stunning beauty . First time offered .

Carefully

restored early

wood dash

911 . Amazingly never

rusted

or

damaged. All original sheet metal hood

doors fenders. ngine lid . floors . rockers. front

apron even the

lower corners under

the rear

window rock

solid !

This car was stripped to

bare metal and sanded clean and metal etched

primed. Urethane

primed and

blocked to to the straightest perfection! It was then

painted

with Glasurit

in the

highly

desirable slate grey

with

clearcoat. It was then color sanded and polished to a mirror

like

finish. This work was

done by Autosports Exclusive in 2015.

These 1966 are

by far the

lowest

production 911

except

for the 1964 .

A total

of 1710 produced.

Compare that to the 1967

where

4140 were made and 2306

of those

were

the S model.

During assembly

all new rubber and seals used

much of the chrome

re-chromed

including the seat

recliners

door

tops otherwise

excellent

original. The interior

is all new

except

for the rear seats. The wheels are all dated

3/66 .

The

brakes are

new master cylinder

hoses

pads

. alipers zinc

plated and rebuilt .

The transmission

shifts

fine

with no noises.

Gas heater intact. Marvelous to drive!

The engine

is a 1970 2. 2 in excellent

condition.

It idles

at 1000 and pulls strong

throughout

the range.

I have located

4

different

early engine cases two which are blank but

have

idea where the original

engine is . There

always be later model 911's

available but

these early

restored wood dash 911 will be

more

difficult

to find.
