Current customer rating:
I am selling my little metro.
I bought it for a run around parts getter & its been great fun.
It is not original but it looks like it could be. It was painted in the
late 60's & the interior was redone at the same time.
It was originally teal in color. I don't know the whole history of
it but it seems to be an original California car with no rust.
It has the 1500 cc engine that was offered in 1955.
It had been in storage for 30 plus years when I found it in a shed
in northern Ca. I went through all the hydraulics . new brakes . aster & cylinders
new clutch master & slave. Got all the electrical working & everything
works. I also did a valve job on it & new head gasket. Somewhere along
the line there was added a tachometer . il pressure & water temp
gauge that are all smiths matching the original & set into the dash looking like
they came that way. I also put a MG midget differential in it giving a higher gear ratio
so know it will cruse at 60 miles an hour & it gets 40 plus miles to the gallon.
I have quite a few collector cars & this little thing gets more attention than any car I ever had.
Its not perfect it leaks a little oil but it is very reliable & super fun to drive.
If you have questions give me a call.
