1984 Jeep CJ

This Big 1984 Jeep CJ 7 has 84. 00 original miles goes down the highway smoothly without shaking or rattling. Also goes up sand dunes in 2 wheel drive. and through some pretty hairy terrain in 4 wheel drive with no problem.

With the wide Chevy axles there is plenty of clearance for turning. and can clear 38” tires easily. This Jeep turns heads and gets plenty of compliment where ever It goes. Comes with the original owners manuals. The Jeep is drivable. but obviously a project. and will need some restoration.

The Paint is in good condition. the under carriage is pretty clean. but the interior needs help.

I notice that the Jeep has many factory option. and began to do some research. It has many of the same options as a Laredo model. but its not a Laredo model.

I found a model that is called the Limited 1982-1983 (2. 00 units were built as a limited-production luxury model) • 4. 2 L I 6 with a Borg-Warner T-5 (5-speed with a Dana 300) or Automatic

transmissions. • a tilting steering wheel• tachometer• clock• center console• side molding under door• 20 gallon gas tank instead of a 15 gallon• Chrome grill
This Jeep has the 4. 2 L I 6 with the Borg-Warner T-5. mated to the Dana 300 transfer case. including all these options. The clock still tics. the speedometer works fine as well as the gas needle. but the other gauges need work.

This Jeep also has some upgrades that were professionally done by experts. • 1989 Chevy Suburban six lug posi trac axles• 1998 Grand Cherokee power steering pump. and gear box. • 1998 Grand Cherokee power brake master cylinder. and power brake booster. This Jeep would be a great candidate for a small block Chevy. Chrysler. or Ford since it already has the big axles. and the power booster for the disc brakes. and the power steering for turning these big wheels.
Now the bad. the jeep runs strong. but the engine has a knock. I've taken it to a mechanic. and they dont know what it is. I've been driving it like that for the last 2 years. and it doesn't get louder or lose power. The steering column is busted but you can still drive it. The seats are pretty worn. and the wheels are sold. so it will come with roller wheels to move it around. All and all its a running project with a lot of potential.
This Jeep is registered. and titled in my name in Mexico with a clean. and clear National title. I will provide paperwork. so you won't have any problem registering it in the United States.

This Jeep is sold as is with no warranty. A $1000. 00 deposit is due within 24 hrs of bidding end. and the balance to be paid in 3 working days.
