This 1977 GMC C 30 Dump Truck is for sale in our Louisville KY showroom. The C/K line of trucks was one of the longest running lines of vehicles to ever be made. This model line ran from 1960 to 1998 in the US and all the way until 2001 in Brazil giving it an unprecedented 41 year run. The first Chevrolet truck was released in 1924 but was more of a coach and would not be part of the line up until 1930. Originally used strictly for work. trucks are now utilized as people movers and customs probably more than their original purpose. This C 30 takes that custom part to whole new level. The first thing you notice is the sheer size of this real life Tonka toy. Sitting on a C 20 chassis with C 30 running gear this thing can handle whatever you throw at it. With a list of new parts including. front bumper. custom grill. headlights and there housings. both inner and outer front fenders and that’s just on the front end. The paint is a very clean with the fames being some of the nicest I have seen. The dump bed along with the frame and chassis has all been coated with Chassis saver while inner fenders and hood liner with it as well. The red cab looks awesome especially next to the yellow paneled bed. The red vinyl bench seat is very comfortable and looks new because it is. Just like the front end under the hood as a list of new parts including. Starter. alternator. power steering pump. Steering is nice and smooth thanks to the new metal steering knuckles. The ride quality was drastically improved with a set of new shocks and front sway bar including the bushings. The 350 crate motor is strong and fresh with the new electric fuel pump giving it a constant flow of fuel. With the exhaust gases taken care of through a set of Flow masters the sound matches the look.
