EQUIPMENT
Electric windows front and rear. Cigarette lighter. Spare key. Lockable petrol cap. Tool kit. PAS. Heated rear windscreen. Spare wheel.

EXTERIOR
This E9 is finished in beautiful Verona red paintwork which looks fantastic against the chrome work. The car was restored thoroughly over a 9 year period and as such is solid with no corrosion in any of the weak points. It has been garaged ever since restoration. On close inspection there are some minor chips to the paintwork and while it is not in perfect concours condition it is very presentable. Being original some of the chrome work around the windows has become pitted in places but it still fits well. both front and rear bumpers are in good condition still retaining a good shine. At the front the light surrounds and kidney grille are all in fine condition.

INTERIOR
The interior in the car is in good condition. the door cards and wooden dash all remain largely unmarked and the wood has aged especially well without the common problem of the lacquer peeling. The black cloth seats were re-trimmed during the restoration and still remain in excellent condition with no sagging or tears to be found. The matching black carpets throughout the car are clean and all the dials and switch gear still feel solid and work as they should.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Originally the car was a BMW CSA utilising a carburettor and an autobox to propel itself down the road. During its restoration it was converted to a more efficient and powerful injection system as per the CSi spec model and combined with a 5 speed overdrive manual box. There is a history file containing many invoices for parts and service items over the years. the most recent a full inspection and oil service at the end of last year. With only 59k miles on the clock the engine looks clean and starts on the button.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
The 14" BMW alloy wheels are in good condition and all BMW centre caps are present and unmarked. upon close inspection there are a few light scuff marks to some of the wheels. The wheels are shod in matching Yokohama tyres which all have plenty of tread left on them. The brakes work well and pull the car up smoothly in a straight line.

HISTORY FILE
This E9 was first registered in August 1973. It was exported to Jersey in 1978 where it remained for 10 years and was then imported back to the UK. The V5 document shows 5 previous owners. In the history file there are many MOT certificates and invoices for parts and service work carried out. recent and during the restoration period. There is a detailed photograph album supporting the all out restoration of the car over the nine year period.
