Liston vehicles are pleased to announce the arrival of this iconic Ford Escort XR3i in near immaculate condition.

EXTERIOR

Since entering our care the highly desirable flame red paintwork has been completely refreshed to a very high standard and is now in immaculate ‘factory fresh' condition. The vinyl convertible top has been professionally replaced with new cables and fixings to match. Underneath this Escort is in immaculate. never welded. condition. To preserve the underside for years to come. it has been cleaned. under-sealed and rubber stone chipped.

INTERIOR

The interior of the car shows the classic credentials of a low millage. well-maintained vehicle. The unmarked cloth seats are in great condition with no loose material and are as comfortable as the day the came out of the factory. All clocks. dials and lights are all in good serviceable condition alongside the original factory radio. Beneath the carpets. the floors are in superb condition with no signs of rust or corrosion. The headlining is tight without any marks or signs of wear. The boot interior is also in good condition.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION

The engine bay really completes this car; clean and tidy throughout. The strut tops are in fantastic condition showing no signs of corrosion what so ever. The engine starts on the button giving a delightful rasp from the exhaust. The clutch feels good with plenty of life still in it. Going through the gears is as easy as the day this car left the factory. this really is a ‘usable classic' and great for the sunny weather.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES

The original XR3 alloy wheels remain on the car and are shod with good Michelin tyres all round. The wheels and hubcaps are freshly refurbished in glossy silver. The boot area houses the spare alloy wheel alongside the jack kit. The brakes are good condition; the pedal is firm bringing the car to a controlled stop in a straight line.
