Striking ultimate practical classic.
Built with the specific intention to last a further 50 years retaining original classic looks and provide ultra reliable and economic everyday transport for its owner
Virtually everything mechanical is new. not reconditioned. refurbished or rebuilt but NEW including a brand new 2. 0 litre ford crate blacktop zetec engine. Nodiz Pro ecu controlling R1 Carbs. starter motor. alternator. fuel pump. I could go on but it would become very boring very fast.
The same attention has been afforded the suspension and brakes and body and interior and it has a 5 speed MT75 gearbox with the gearstick where it should be. if you are still reading you will know just what has gone into this car
Anyone serious will phone as I could not explain how much has been done or spent on this car in this listing but I am happy to tell you everything in that old style thing we used to call conversation.
For the purists. I have the original seats in great condition. the original suspension coils and leaf springs and a set of RS alloys as an option if you would rather return it to standard and nothing. and I do mean NOTHING has been done to this car that cannot be reversed back to standard originality. no silly chopping or making holes just to make life easier. that is absolutely not for me and would have been a crime with such a rare car.
I expect the courtesy of speaking with anyone who would like to bid. any bid placed without speaking to me in person will be removed.
It has cost £6. 00 to build and taken 12 months of my time. I cannot give you a value or buy it now price as I simply don't know. what I will say is that I am furious with values shooting up for anything pre 80 with a blue oval on it. trust me I cannot abide people who want stupid money and force the everyday classic enthusiast out of the market and I am not one of those
I reserve the right to sell the car before the listing ends to any enthusiast like me who appreciates old cars for what they are and not what they are worth
At this point I could say "so grab a bargain" or some such other inane statement. no. suffice to say someone will get a bloody good motor for a fair price. no matter what the market/dealers/restoration "specialists" may think its worth. i may undersell it. I don't care. I don't need the money and similarly I don't need to sell it. if you appreciate it and will look after it. you're the man or woman for me
No ifs no buts just call me. my name is Dean and I am on 07557170576 texts and e bay messages will probably be ignored but I will always answer my phone
If the auction lasts its course an immediate £500 deposit is essential by paypal or bank transfer from the winner.
The kettle is permanently on
