Description Del's Auto Gallery is proud to offer a very unique custom 1992 Porsche 928 Wide body. Porsche rolled out the 928 in the late 1970 s as their first front engine. V 8 grand touring car. Initially the 928 was intended to replace the 911 as the flagship model. but ultimately the two models sold side by side until the mid 1990 s when the 928 was discontinued. The car has a state of the art stereo. climate control. and two back seats. This particular example sports the 4 speed automatic rear transaxle.
The car is finished in a bright red exterior which really shows off the body lines. It sits on a set of high quality wheels with a classic honeycomb pattern. The entire car right down to the dual chrome exhaust outlet says look at me. The interior is classic German luxury. Taupe leather wraps comfortable bucket seats both front and rear.
Options include: Air conditioning. power seats. power windows. power sunroof. and Blaupunkt stereo with cassette player. This car is functional enough to be comfortably driven every day. but stylish enough to gather glances wherever you go. This car would be an excellent addition to the Porsche fanatics collection.
This car is family owned and was built for our father in 1982. Car is all original. clean record. The power roof sometimes sticks. As an older car it has it's own personality. The car runs great. has a powerful air condition (new) but heater not so much. Drivers window motor just replaced. The dash is slightly warped. This is full disclosure as I know it is sometimes hard to tell in photos. I have most records of when I purchased the car from my father. This car is a head turner. I have had numerous people over the years ask if I want to sell it. USA only. no payment plans.
