This car is stunning . it is the most sought after and most collectible of all the 1976 MARK IV the " CARTIER " series . gray paint w/light gray interior and light vinyl 1/2 top.
VERY RARE VERSAILLES INTERIOR (a $2. 00 option in 1976) more expensive than the leather interior (most of them came with leather) factory aluminum wheels . 460 ci Ford engine (last year of the powerful V 8) and ELECTRIC SUNROOF (fully functional) . These MARK IV are getting up in value and will continue . They were called the land yacht of automobile they have a great design (specially the 1976) . are powerful . fast . reliable and offer one of the smoothest ride on asphalt.
I have owned this car since March 2010 . The car comes from Colorado but was registered in Connecticut back in 1991. I had the car serviced in February 2016 and changed the electronic ignition (coil module . ires . starter relay) . A compression test showed 125 psi on all cylinders . Last year I upgraded the fuel system and rebuilt the carburetor . put a new fuel pump . new lines . filter and serviced the transmission with synthetic oil.
The overall condition of the car is excellent . the interior has NO cracks including on the dash . it was repainted once. vinyl top & chrome are superb . the spare in the trunk appears to be original. The car is reasonably priced but if you have any questions i can be contacted at
