Current customer rating:
Provenance with ownership history - bills of sale and service records for 46 years. Restored and renowned by Austin Healey specialist Rich Chrysler. 5 year museum quality $135. 00+ restoration.
Documented photo history with cd included. Only 153 break in miles since the restoration. Concours tool kit. side curtains. tonneau. jack. owners manual included.
On July 5 th. the Healey world lost one of the greatest and knowledgeable resources when Rich Chrysler passed away after a short battle with cancer. Rich was a founding member of the Austin Healey Club of America and the Concours Registry.
In memoriam to Rich. Gary Anderson commented that " Rich had more knowledge tucked in his head and his fingertips about how Healeys were originally manufactured than only a few other people in the world". Gary went on to say that when Motorbooks offered the opportunity to publish our standards as a book on Healey restoration. the book became the Anderson and Moment book. but he made it clear in the introduction. that Rich Chrysler was an equal contributor. Rich was also a respected restorer having achieved gold standard on many occasions.
When restoring this outstanding BN 1. Rich would comment to Michael Whitcomb that the car was done to "the highest standard of authenticity of any he had ever done". He was very proud of this. no fillers whatsoever.
Colin Bailey known as the "panel beater". applied his years at Rolls Royce an duplicated the body as it left the factory. perhaps even better. Thanks Rich Chrysler. Clean Indiana title. can be transferred in 1 business day to new owner.
