Austin healey frogeye sprite 1958 mk 1. 9 stud screen it has a refurbished 1098 engine fitted and runs great it has had lots of new parts fitted brakes. cylinders. brake hoses and pipes. new suspension bushes etc. new tyres. new trim panels carpets. I have owned the car for a number of years and the father inlaw has picked up from where I left off and completed the car to useable standard in 2013 I have driven the car on a few trips out and have enjoyed it very much but due to a change in circumstances I am having to let this very rare car go to someone else to enjoy. the car does look good and starts and drives fine but will not win shows the father in law has refurbished a lot of the original parts as best as he could and the body work could do with attention as it has cracked and crazed in a few places but it doesn't look too bad at first glance and could be used as it is or a rolling project the car is road fund and mot exempt and is cheap to insure with a classic insurance! i have had a lot of questions in regards to description of the bodywork/paintwork as the car looks good in the pictures which is true the car does look good and as stated looks good at first glance but I am giving a honest description to the way I see the car which is I was going to use the car for a couple of more years with the intention of stripping the car back and having it repainted so to put it in to words I would say the bodywork and paintwork are not perfect and require attention as stated I don't wish to mislead anyone in anyway or form and yes it does look good in pictures but doesn't everything unless you are happy to go with my description I suggest you view the car for yourself before placing a bid and make your own mind up which can be anytime to suit you until the auction end
