1956 Sunbeam supreme. 2. 50 of these cars were produced and one of them won the 1955 Monte Carlo rally outright (not this one unfortunately!) This lovely car in very sound condition is now for sale. The bodywork is in good overall condition although in places the paint is showing signs of crazing. but this does not detract from the general attractive appearance of the car. Please bear in mind that the car is 60 years old and there is some filler here and there. especially the doors which have had new lower skins some time ago by the look of it. Underneath the chassis is excellent and does not require any welding. The interior of the car whilst appearing to be original is still in my opinion in sound useable condition. only the driver's seat showing signs of heavy wear. the car would benefit from a new clutch as it is starting to slip and the handbrake does not work. It still drives and the engine starts easily and sounds nice but it will need to be taken away on a trailer. Apart from that this is a lovely classic vehicle which has very stylish lines and a good performance. and with a little work will be ready to put back on the road and enjoy.
