1964 Iris Blue MGB Roadster with contrasting dark blue leather upholstery. dark blue soft-top and tonneau. This is a very rare example as there are very few early MGBs which have not been messed around with over the years. I am told that there are now estimated to be no more than 30 Iris Blue MGBs in the UK. This is an original pull handle MGB with no modifications apart from the addition of a Motolita steering wheel and lead free cylinder head. The car has the original 3 bearing engine. two six volt batteries. aluminium bonnet and original tool kit. It is a non- overdrive model. We have enjoyed this car for 8 years and bought it from a friend. so have known the car for many years. The car was originally a Californian rust free import. first registered in the UK in 1996 when it was fully restored and converted to RHD. For a 52 year old car it is in excellent condition but not concourse. The price reflects the condition. as there are 3 superficial bodywork imperfections. these are hardly noticeable and with modest investment these could easily be rectified . This beautiful car is also mechanically sound (12 month MOT) and a pleasure to drive. During our ownership the car was awarded first prize at our regional MGOC Pride of Ownership event.

We have a comprehensive file detailing all UK history. everything that has been spent on the car since it was imported and the Heritage Certificate. We have loved and cherished our MGB but have reluctantly decided to sell due to lack of use. having covered approx 300 miles in the last 3 years! Viewing is essential. Car located in Rufford.
