1965 VW Beetle 1300 Deluxe

Up for sale is my beautiful and treasured “Love Bug”.

Unfortunately “Buggy” is being sold due to a lack of space and time to maintain him. A regretful sale….   in fact you may have to pry the keys out of my clenched fists as I ball my eyes out. There is also a high likely hood that I'll chase you down the street in a dramatic fashion as you drive off!

So the old Volkswagen is more than just a car. it's a passion. It puts a bigger smile on your face than any other and its little whistle warms your heart. (I may have to pause for tissues as I write this advertisement! Oh I know going to look back and realize I've made a big mistake!) 

I have owned “Buggy” for 6 years and he was my daily driver up until about a year ago when I sadly moved over to the dark side when work provided me with a brand new lease car. Since then I didn't have much opportunity to take him for a spin. nor the time or skills to maintain him. So I made the decision to put him in storage until I could make him a hobby and give him the attention he deserves.

However. I came to realize that in inner city Brisbane space is not unlimited and that without regular love he will only deteriorate.

 So the car is;

Currently running

Currently unregistered. and will be sold "as is".

Has a current Roadworthy Certificate

Has a Brand New Battery

Comes with the original VW key

Comes with Original Logbook with purchase receipt from Sep'1965 and records of my services.

Has small exterior isolated patches of rust. but as far as I know no structural rust.

Has original upholstery – Generalized stains. several tears

May need a new fuel pump.

I am getting a lot of inquires about whether or not there is a "buy it now" price. whether I would do a deal outside of the auction or whether he is for sale on any other domains. I am only selling him through auction on eBay. There is no "buy it now" price or sale outside of auction. I am a big fan of eBay with lots of past positive experiences on here. I much prefer the ease of a auction than lots of negotiation. I also love the idea that it gives everyone who's interested a fair go and have a bid!
