1962 Alfa Romeo Spider 1962 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Spider for sale

Offered for auction is a fine 1962 Alfa Romeo 101 Spider.
Ground up restoration completed late 2010. then used for weekend tours and the occasional trackday event.
Street legal in the state of Oregon it has been updated enough to keep up in modern traffic and spirited trackdays.
Full appraisal completed in 2010 and available for review. This Spider has been shown often at AROC events as well as the Concorso Italiano in Monterey CA.
The best way to appreciate this car like all Alfas is to inspect it and then test drive it.
Vehicle specifics are as follows:
ENGINE: 2 liter dual overhead cam aluminum engine bored 40 over. 12. 5 to 1 compression.
Custom rods. pistons. uilt by Wes Ingram Washington.
Stage 3 race head built by Steve Hannaford Progressive Automotive Washington. Accusump oil system. ace prepped oil pump. nd windage tray.
Dual 45 mm DCOE Weber Carburetors with custom spacers to improve flow.
Tuned and dyno'd with 200+hp. 7000 rpm shift point. ATL fuel cell in tank fuel pump. MSD ignition and coil.
American Auto Wire wire loom.
TRANSMISSION/ DIFFERENTIAL: Alfa 5 speed. Sachs aluminum clutch. custom short shift selector.
One piece driveline conversion.
105/115 aluminum rear center section with race prepped 4:56 limited slip gears.
BRAKES/SUSPENSION: 4 wheel Disc brakes Wilwood fronts with drilled and slotted rotors. Alfa calipers in the rear.
Carbon metalic pads. manual bias and stainless lines. Lowered springs front and rear Koni shocks 1 inch sway bar front and adjustable lower control arms in the rear.
Panasport 15 x 6 wheels with Toyo R 888 race tires. CHASSIS: Race upgrades include custom floor pans. runk pan. ransmission tunnel. ill plates. riveline loops. nd sub frame connectors and Chrome Moly Roll and door bars.
All added to stiffen the unibody construction and add safety.
BODYWORK: Body Stripped to bare metal and all problem areas fixed or replaced with new hand worked metal.
All pinch welds were removed and smoothed.
Front and rear bumpers removed and smoothed. INTERIOR: Custom Procar seats covered in Saddle Ultra leather.
Black Wilton wool carpet. Crow Belts. Nardi steering wheel. polished column. Autometer gauges and Halon fire extinguisher.
