Hi, I have a 1959 Minor 1000 pick up in superb condition.
The truck was an ev
xport model [LHD] straight to L.A.from the factory. Spent all its life in LA till I bought it 8 or 9 yrs ago.
I did a complete body off restoration since it was painted a horrible battleship grey.It is now bright white with teal wings and a purple waist stripe. looks great. Mileage is around 2200. It has a 0 mileage NOS speedo fitted by me since it sat for a long time & stripped the worm gear due to hardened grease.
it also had a Midget 1275 engine fitted because it didnt agree with being parked up & not running & seized.New clutch also.
Runs very well & economically.good starter. Decent tyres. all new rubbers windscreen etc.big battery since I only run in the summer & never in the wet or snow!Reupholstered in matching green/blue vinyl. Has won 2 awards here in Ontario Canada. Would like to get 10'000 pounds for it.
