The Mini was manufactured by the British Motor Corporation (BMC)
and its successors from 1959 until 2000. The original is considered
a British icon of the 1960's and its space-saving front-wheel drive
layout allowing 80% of the car's floor plan to be used for
passengers and luggage. influenced a generation of car makers. In
1999. the Mini was voted the second most influential car of the
20 th century behind the Ford Model T. Initially Minis were marketed
under the Austin and Morris names until Mini became a marque in its
own right in 1969. The Mini was again marketed under the Austin
name in the 1980's and was offered in a number of limited editions
that usually included a special combination of trim and
badging.
This Limited Edition Mini is a two owner vehicle and has only
covered 18. 35 miles from new. Finished in green with black
interior. this Mini started on the button when requested and we are
advised it drives with no known faults. Badged 'The Italian Job' it
is ready to use and enjoy immediately. With prices increasing
dramatically of late for this iconic British car. a low mileage
example such as this offers excellent value in today's buoyant
market.
K 604 DFL is supplied with a V 5 C registration document and a full
year's Mo T test certificate. together with the original handbooks
