A delightful little Rolls Royce 20 hp supplied new via Caffyns to one D. K. Hall Esq of Eastbourne. Coachwork is by Hooper in their usual inimitable quality & takes the form of an owner driver six light saloon the front seats being ajdustable to suit different statures of driver. The mahogany interior woodwork has been beautifully refinished. The door inserts have a pleasant Marquetry bead running round the edges.
This Rolls Royce 20 hp comes to us with some serious bills for mechanical rebuilding in both French & Dutch minutely detailing the extensive works undertaken. As a reslut the engine runs in silence & is one of the sweetest 20 hp engines I have come across. The engine bay is exremely tidy & gives a feeling of having been well cared for.
The interior of this Rolls Royce 20 hp is original grey West of England wool cloth with a few moth holes from the passage ot time. The seats are very servicaeble & have been addititionally preserved by the last owners habit of keeping the seats covered with travelling rugs. To the exterior is a three tone paint scheme predominately in black & blue but with grey accents & grey wire wheels. A capacious motoring trunk is fitted to the rear below the quaint oval rear window. The coachwork is quite upright & imbues the car with a quite period feel to it.
