Opel Ascona Historic Rally car project. Just imported from Sweden. this car runs and drives and recently took part in an event over there.

First the spec.
Refreshed engine with Forged pistons & rods. big valve head. twin 45 DCOE Webers. all new bearings. piston rings & cam chain.
Original built by Kenneth Motors with KM 24 cam
Full length sump guard
5-speed box
Manta rear axle with LSD
Full cage. competition seats. belts. fire extinguishers. cut-off switch etc.
Lots of spares including wings. gearbox. various springs. 4-pot calipers & hubs.

The good news is that this is a complete car with everything that you need to build a Historic rally car or a fun RWD alternative to an Escort. The car really needs to stripped. re-painted and rebuilt. the shell is basically very solid but for some poor repairs to the floor. The cage has had some extra upper door bars added (very badly) that need to be removed. the paint work is truly awful and it not been put together as well as it could be. A great project for someone who doesn't want be endlessly buying parts.

Supplied with NOVA but will need a UK MOT before it can be registered.
