One of only 200 M series overdrive carts built this car is fitted with the standard high ratio rear axle making for very long legged & rapid cruising at modern day speeds.
The car was rebodied in 1978 to a James Young design as a two seater drop head. replacing the original Mulliner 2 door Saloon coachwork that had come to the end of its useful life. The aluminium coachwork is very elgant with a sweeping tail line giving a streamlined fastback apearance with the roof down. The car has an easily erected black canvas hood that stows in the boot or behind the rear seats.
The car is finished in two tone mid blue over dark blue. To the interior is Black leather matched with black carpets. The wooden dash board is recently refinished & contains a full complimnet of the usual instrumentation.
Mechanicaly the car is in fine order with the engine having been fully overhauled & rebuilt by noted Marque specialists Ristes of Nottingham just 13. 00 miles ago. The car comes with extensive records from the last decades attesting to regular servicing & fettling.
The engine starts readily & is a quiet powerful unit. This combined with the light weight coachwork makes it a fast touring car well suited to rallies & long distance travel.
