This little truck was purchased 23 years ago by my wife and I in SanAntonio. exas. We used it daily for many years . We bought from original who worked at north loop VW. t was used for work for some time with he and us. It finally came out of storage 3 years ago. e had all the paint removed and had repainted in the orange sherbet and french vanilla you see. riginally sealing wax red (salmon). Many of the panels are original to it. We had the finest materials applied to it. o make sure it would last many years to come. All new brakes. heel cylinders. hoes and hardware. ront beam is original and stock and replaced with new parts. Trans is rebuilt and still retains the reduction boxes. Motor has been replaced with a 1775 dual port. ual weber carbs. lternator. ew sheet metal. lectric fuel pump. ost everything on the motor is new. ts only been driver a couple of miles at this time. The interior doors . loor. oof . tc. have been dynamated for sound deadening. Stainless safaris installed. ll new glass everywhere as well as all seals. We made a point to locate the best stuff we could find to ensure years of enjoyment. BRM wheels at all four corners sitting on BFG radials. nd new radial shocks. It rides better than it ever did. It still needs some tuning and it has a couple of small little dings that i can show ya. Were still installing parts as we write. ought an overhead gauge console. up holder. ntenna. TC.
