History of our car

Our car was first registered on 16th December 1972 when it was delivered new to Venice.

The car stayed in northern Italy all its life and came to the UK in August of this year after we purchased the car from the third owner in Piacenza.

The car will be sold with an age related UK registration.

Body

This car has the best body we have ever seen on a Fulvia: arrow straight. consistent and paper-thin panel fit all round. without a hint of corrosion or previous accident repair to speak of. Clad in her original delivery colour of argento metalizzato. the paintwork on our Fulvia is of Concours quality and entirely blemish free.

The car has been de-bumpered (original bumpers are excellent and come with the car) and hence sports HF number plate lights. which. alongside original Carello spot lamps. Fanalone wheel arch extensions and freshly refurbished HF Cromodoras have given this car a fantastic look.

All exterior trim and glass is in outstanding condition.

The superior quality of this example continues underneath – zero rust. zero repairs apparent. The all important sub-frame mounts are also free from corrosion.

Mechanicals

The engine in this car is super sweet and smoke free. It starts immediately. settles down to a smooth idle. and pulls strongly through the rev range emitting a wonderful rasp from the stainless steel exhaust.

The engine bay is clean and authentically detailed.

Fulvias are known for their nimble handling. and this car does not disappoint. The steering is tight. the ride smooth. the brakes strong. Clearly this is a car that has been cherished and it operates as such.

Interior

The sporty charisma of this example continues on the inside with a pair of period Fusina style bucket seats with corduroy inserts and an original Ferrero steering wheel. both of which feel just right. The dashboard is excellent and un-cracked. all switch gear works as it should.

The car comes with a set of carpets to lay over the original vinyl matting – which is in good condition - if the new owner so desires.


Boot

Original and correct. right down to the jack. tool kit. and emergency warning triangle.

Summary
