1967 Ford mk 2 Cortina 2 door 1500 GT pre cross-flow series 1

Cortina 1500 GT 2 door. in Saluki Bronze. this 'E' reg car has a large file of paperwork. bought new in Leeds with bill of sale. all mot's and receipts for work done to date. car has been prepared to rally spec (could be easy to convert back to standard). pristine condition. built to extremely high level with attention to detail. small fortune spent. MSA logbook. FIA approved. this car won best GT at Cortina Nationals. car has Lotus Cortina spec without Lotus engine. the 1500 pre cross-flow engine has only done 42. 00 miles. although this car is rally prepared it has not been rallied.

Body. original 2 door shell is 100% sound and never welded. paintwork excellent. 4 x lucas 7" spot lamps front and 1 x lucas fog rear. tow eyes. full roll bar inside bolted in. rally seats. plumbed in fire extinguisher plus one. brantz 1 international trip metre for road use. see photo (too much to list).

Mechanic and running gear. 1498 cc pre cross-flow engine with 42 k miles. has twin 40's carb's (2 years old). 4 speed gearbox type 3. 3. 4. 1 diff. front. M 16 brake cap and macpherson struts. upper strut brace. rear. 9" brakes GAS shocks. rear leaf springs/telescopic dampers. rear axel twin radius arms for extra location (only fitted to mk 1 & early mk 2's). Full stainless steel exhaust. Wheels -Minilites on Dunlop tyres. as new. front. 6 & 1/2 x 13. rear 7 & 1/2 x 13.

Fully road legal show car with mot & tax (exempt) to next spring. fun on the road or track.
