EXTERIOR
Unique to only 50 UK examples in 1991 and with only 25 in this colour. the Mauritius Blue paintwork shows a deep and glossy lustre that both accentuates the clean contours of the body and purposeful lines of the factory fitted M-Tech body kit. The body is in excellent condition. weak points such at the scuttle panel and rear number plate light surrounds remain clear of cosmetic or structural damage. whilst chassis rails. lower body and sills are very sound. We have just removed the body kit to check there is nothing sinister lurking underneath and whilst refitting done so with all new clips and screws from BMW. Fit and finish of the rubbers and plastics is excellent. with lights clear and chip free.

INTERIOR
This particular Motorsport variant is appointed with gorgeous Lotus White extended leather that compliments the Mauritius Blue paintwork wonderfully well. With door cards. dash and gearbox tunnel all treated to double stitched soft leather. the cabin sits in terrific condition with the seat stitching and bolsters in good order. Carpets and mats maintain an exemplary fit and finish free of marks or tears. The electric hood remains smooth in operation and in good condition however the rear window would benefit from replacement due to a small crack.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Starting purposefully and settling to a consistent idle. the sonorous Inline 6 is unmistakably BMW and with generous torque available from the M20B25 the auto ‘box which is the perfectly suited. After a rich history of main agent service routine both the engine and drivetrain are in fine fettle with spritely performance and no drone or slur from the gearbox. Having had a full service and cambelt adjustment in March 2015 at 72k. and a thorough checkover in house by our BMW Senior tech. it is of no surprise that this E30 is tight. responsive and a pure joy on the open road.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Freshly refurbished OEM option Alpina 16 inch wheels really look at home on the E30 chassis. wrapped in matching performance rubber showing plenty of tread. Recent brake lines and a fluid replacement ensure that that the car stops as it should with no adverse pitch. pull or drone.

HISTORY FILE
Incredibly. this E30 has made 45 visits to the BMW main dealer over the last 20 years with the last service carried out on the 5th March 2015 at 72. 70 miles by Cooper Ipswich. who also replaced the cambelt. fan belt. flushed the coolant and carried out a brake fluid refresh.

More recently the car has been subject to a great deal of love and care. with a sympathetic cosmetic and mechanical overhaul by ourselves to future proof this special limited edition for years to come.
