This is one extremely cool classic Italian built Convertible from the past. The Maserati Bi-Turbo has an interesting history and is a very unique and quite exotic sports car that was introduced by Maserati in 1981. This Bi-Turbo is a two-door. four seater Convertible with very sleek body lines and luxurious accommodations for its time. This Maserati was designed by Pierangelo Andreani. an engineer from the De Tomaso team. The Zagato Spyder version was introduced the the Turin Motor Show in 1984. The car was designed and built by Zagato. their first design work for Maserati. The automotive designer Carrozzeria Embo was comissioned to develop the four-seater cabriolet version of the Bi-Turbo. This 2 owner from new Classic Convertible has only 32. 22 original miles and is in very good overall condition for its age and is a blast to drive. This Maserati is equipped with Power Steering. Power Disc Brakes front & back. Power Windows. AC. AM/FM Stereo and a whole lot more. This Spyder is powered by a 2. 5L 156CID V6 Fuel Injected power-plant producing a whopping 185HP@ 5500RPM all mated to an automatic transmission. The exterior is finished in Bright Red with a Dark Clue Convertible Top all surrounding a Beige Leather Interior. Back in 1986 when new this Italian exotic cost more than $27. 00 which is more than $60K by today's dollars.
