Mercedes-Benz : S-Class Leather

The Mercedes-Benz S-class which was unveiled in September of 1979 in Frankfurt did not appeal to many at first glance. The design team. led by Bruno Sacco was intending to produce a vehicle that was faster. lighter. and much more sleep that the previous W116 S-class.

 
Utilizing an interior temperature sensor to effectively adjust the interior temperature a fully automatic climate control system was installed. Mounted close to the sunroof. a sensor could detect when the roof was ajar by the cool wind chills and call upon the system to adjust heat flow accordingly. Placed below the speedometer. an exterior temperature sensor would display the exterior temperature and was set in the main instrument console.

 This one owner 560 SEL has been meticulously maintained from new.  It is in excellent condition inside and out. Other than a few minor touchups the paint is all original. It has a very minor dent from another  car door on the right rear door and the right rear quarter panel has a minor dent. They can both be removed through PDR.  The power antenna is not working properly as it tends to stick when going up or down.  This car has been stored for most of it's life in an indoor climate controlled environment which is why it still remains in excellent condition.  Other than the items mentioned above all features work as they should. The car  drives out beautifully and will be sold with an Ontario Safety Standards Certificate. The car been maintained by a local Mercedes Benz dealership from new.
