This is an awesome running and looking FJ40 that needs nothing. Vehicle is in Edmonton Alberta Canada. Bought this beauty from Denver CO because it had No rust. Had it repainted back to its original Olive 653. added 2 inch Ironman lift kit. Brand new 31 inch Goodyears with powder coated rims (5). Engine was tuned up by famous Landcruiser shop in Denver before I bought it. The guy took care of some vacuum leaks and tuned the carb. Runs like a top. Also has new brake lines. tie rod end kit. I also have just recieved the new carb for it.   I only bought the carb because i heard they put out "high altitude carbs" for places with high altitudes like Denver. Have 2 newly RESTORED  front doors for it as the ones on it have bad welding job replacing the bottoms (could add pics of them later if interested). I added pics of the inner rear wheel wells to show 2nd PO's weld patches. I didn't really think they were that big of a deal. Also the lower hinges on amby doors are welded on as well. Everything works on this 40 except sometimes the right signal light just stays on and won't flash. Also when i folded up the windsheild last summer there was a spot about the size of my fist of rust bubbles in the paint on underside of frame. I scraped off what i could put on some POR15 to stop whatever was happening there. You can't see it unless you fold up windshield. It was apparent that no one had folded it up for quite a while if ever cause it was full of broken glass chunks as if it was broken when they installed a new windshield or something.

This FJ40 has been redone by someone. There is new metal on this for sure. It just wasn't finished at a level that a professional shop would put out. PO told me the engine had been rebuilt (not by him). He said that he bought it from a man that bought it from a father son duo that were restoring it but the father had passed away so interest was lost. This is not a 40-50 thousand dollar FJ40 but it isn't a 10 000 dollar one either. I have an appraisal that says the value in American dollars would be 28 000 (36 K Canadian). My friends think i'm nuts selling this but honestly i'm just getting bored of it. My two girls loved driving around with the top off last summer but its not as fun cruising with mommy and baby at home. Having something that is a little more family of 5 friendly would be better for us. If it doesn't sell this time out I won't re list cause its still an awesome FJ40 and nothing beats driving it with the top off in the summer listening to Zac Brown Band cranked!

May consider a possible trade for the right FJ60 with cash. (A Family Landcruiser)
