Triumph Stag 3.0 auto

The Stag was yet another groundbreaking British design Like many others in our history and every car enthusiast knows the story with its pretty design. four seats. mixture of soft and hard tops and a V8 engine!

What an amazing proposition it was at launch and much better value than it's German counterpart the mighty SL.

Owned by father and son since 1976 this is the most original non restored Stag we have offered.

She has been professionally stored since 2006 and we have begun a careful recommissioning refresh without disturbing any of the original features on the car.

There has been light repainting of a few panels during her life but no welding or major work with some paint being the original.

The interior is also original with no retrimming carried out and the same with the carpets the boot mat being the only one replaced at some point.

If originality is important to you then this is one of a kind but she is not a concours restored car with replica parts fitted and chrome sills and wheels .

She has only covered 51000miles and this is supported by an original stamped service book and mots etc.

So overall this is a very safe purchase and currently very undervalued in the Classic car market.

On a hot sunny day with the top off the burble of the V8 really suits the style of the Stag as wafts along quite sportingly.

Models with the auto gearbox are best and she feels tight and reliable.

There are cheap alternatives out there but as always there is a reason why you pay more for the best!
