This Austin Healy Sprite is finished in the original colour of Signal Red and as is stunning with excellent chrome work.

The engine. chassis. and body numbers match as per V5 and HPI certificate.

It comes with its original buff log book and a heritage certificate showing it was built 25/27 June 1962 and dispatched to dealer J. Gibbs Ltd. Feltham. Middlesex on the 6th July 1962.

There is a clear HPI certificate for peace of mind.

The engine is a 948cc. which was rebuilt a couple of years ago and is detailed with chrome air filters (see photo).

It has drum brakes as the early MK2 should have. has immaculate MWS painted wire wheels (5) which ride on excellent Michelin 145/13 tyres (see photo).

The bodywork is extremely solid (boot. floors. footwells. engine bay and underneath vehicle) (see photo).

It has had a complete nut and bolt re build in 1994/95 recorded by a large number of photos.

The engine runs at the correct oil pressure and coolant temperature and feels very solid with no bangs or clonks.

The interior is in fantastic condition (see photo) with excellent carpets. dashboard and sound proofing.

The original seats have just been re covered in the correct black with red piping and new foam (see photo).

There is a Sprite wooden gear knob (original one included) and a very collectable and rare period Les Leston wood rim steering wheel.

The boot has a full carpet set including spare wheel cover (see photo) and comes with a new tool bag containing jack and new copper and hide hammer.

An excellent full tonneau cover is included and a newish hood together with aluminium and perspex sidescreens (see photo).

Bespoke vinyl bags have recently been made to carry the sidescreens and hood rails (see photo).

There is huge history file containing parts and service invoices. old MOT's. and many restoration photos.

A period lockable chrome fuel cap is fitted.

A genuine rare BMC workshop manual. service parts list. and drivers handbook. all in immaculate condition are included (see photo).

I must stress that this is not your usual condition Sprite but a potential concours winner and collectable car and would make an excellent investment.
