Back Ground to the car:

The car has spent the last 28 years of it's life here in Herefordshire. n that period  being owned by just two friend's

Since 1985 and for the past  25 years being part of a collection.

Consequently the car has been kept in excellent condition . he interior is totally original right down to the carpets and all in excellent condition.

Condition of the vehicle. as shall be as critical as I can ( please read my feedback on other classic cars sold )

Bodywork /shell:

The integrity of the shell is excellent and likewise the sub frames . loorpan . A”pillar “B” slam panels. he fact the car has been kept out of the vagaries of the UK climate has been no doubt beneficial !

The shut lines are excellent !

Paint work :

The car looks resplendent in Rosso Corsa with the paintwork looking bright and unfaded . f course the car has had paint  in it's 37 year life . ut she has always been Rosso Corsa . nd still has the paint code sticker under the bonnet and boot.

I really cannot think of anything on the paintwork of note that deserves highlighting.

Drivetrain:

Excellent ! the cam gear is quiet . he carbs well balanced . he engine does not smoke or overheat  ( oil pressure gauge does not read properly) so cant give an accurate reading . ut the engine is very smooth.

Gearbox/Final Drive

Excellent . o synchromesh problems or wind up in the differential

Braking. /span>

Very Good . ulling up straight and true

Interior:

A real time warp !  all totally original . ncluding the green fitted carpets . he wooden dash . rash pad centre console seating . oor cards look great . hey have just the right patina about them.

Webasto Roof

In very good condition . his is the original fitment with no rips.

Brighwork:

Excellent “

Wheels /Tyres :

In very good condition . hod with 165/SR /14 ‘s

Electrical:

As at the time of writing all working as per specification.

On the Road:

Well this is a car that really does turn heads! Everytime you pull up it gets lots of favourable comments. but why not! They have to one of the prettiest cars ever to grace the tarmac “ but it is not just looks . hese cars were not such a massive success in competition for just looking pretty. in it's HF Guise it was world rally champions.

The 1. 3 is a stunning  pocket rocket . he handling  and engine make for very communicative and entertaining drive this is no doubt helped by the visibility from the cabin due to the slim pillars . he suspension gives a well-controlled but compliant ride . nother bonus of this excellent little package is the frugality of fuel usage. capable of easily 30+ mpg.

Overall Conclusion:

If you are looking for a classic that combines looks with performance is very practical as well then look no further! They are now getting the recognition they so rightly deserve. coming from a time when the Lancia was built with engineering and build integrity in its day to match both Porsche and Bmw .

If this was a suit it would be Gucci. case Vuitton . ut it's a Fluvia and my humble opinion more stylish than either!

 The payment will be either Sterling. Bank transfer (CHAPS) Cheque.  

 If paying by cheque the car will not be released until clearance of the cheque. all payments in sterling.  

Delivery is available throughout the UK and to ports of embarkation only. his is via Wye Bridge Motors of Hereford they are experts in Classic Car Transportation and have a “bed off” transporter especially designed to take the lowest classic.

    Sometimes in the classic car business you see a car for sale. followed by a mega trip and then when you physically see it the veil of disappointment descends on you! well the opposite of  this was my pleasure on Wednesday . fter a trip across to Dublin and an overnight at an airport hotel. he vendor was good enough to bring the car to the hotel. o imagine my delight when this stunning little pocket rocket turned up!not only did it look the part . he return trip from Holyhead to Hereford via Snowdonia was an absolute joy . he car was blistering and the handling was a revelation "arriving in Hereford in 3 hours 5 mins. ig smile on face . h' added bonus trip completed at Majestic wine for a free tasting ' top day!
