The Morris Minor was debuted at the Earls Court Motor Show in
London on 20th September 1948. Designed by Alec Issigonis. br/>more than 1. 3 million were manufactured between 1948 and
1971. In 1952. the Morris Minor was updated with an
Austin-designed overhead valve. A-Series engine. replacing the
original side-valve power plant. Cosmetically the front wings and
grill were replaced. and the head lights moved from the grill to
the front wings. In 1952. in addition to the two and four door
saloon and the four seat convertible. an estate version was
introduced. known as the Traveler. along with the van and pick-up
versions.

Originally registered on 19th July 1956. this Morris
Minor has been in the same family since new.

Restored some 10 years ago although sadly little is known by
whom. the Morris still presents in good order today and is a
perfectly useable example. The car is still very sound. with a
particularly smooth and quiet engine. Supplied with a V5
registration document and a host of previous MoT test certificate. br/>together with some of the original documentation; split screen
Morris minors are becoming increasingly rare and sought after. This
is an interesting and useable example for a very modest
outlay.
