A lovely car in traditional colours of Tudor & shell Grey one of 516 examples produced. The paint is in fine order throughout & presents very very well. The car has covered 106. 00 miles from new. A letter from Rolls Royce details the service history & incremental mileages up to 94 k. Since then the current long term owner has used the car very sparingly occasionally taking the car out for high days & holidays from amongst his collection of other Rolls Royce cars. The car was purchased in 2005 from Hunt & Keal.
To the interior is Pale Grey leather to the front with matching grey carpets. The rear is trimmed in West of England cloth extending to the twin occasional seats. Deep pile lambswool carpets are found under foot. The woodwork is a fine example of British cabinetry & is burr walnut throughout. In the middle of the bulkhead is a cocktail cabinet containing glasses & a decanter. The rear cabin is of course spacious in the extreme affording comfort for 5 adults.
Under the bonnet the car is tidy & well presented. The car fires up instantly & settles to a steady even idle. The engine pulls strongly & changes gear smoothly. The car as a whole is a pleasure to drive & has a real sense of occasion & grandeur to it. The car is fitted with under bonnet air conditioning making it well suited to warmer climes.
Being a later car it benefits from the 7% more powerful engine as used in the Silver Cloud 3 & is also a quad headlamp car.
