Current customer rating:
This is a 1950 Willys Jeepster.
This is fresh out of storage from the same local owner for over 40 years. It has always been stored indoors. It has been very well cared for. We've gotten the engine running.
The car will run and drive with an auxillary gas tank.
There are aftermarket plastic replacement tanks available which may be the best alternative for the fuel. The more we drive the car the better the brakes feel. The car was painted approximately 30 years ago and shows its age in several places.
The areas beneath the doors are popping.
In some areas. the paint is dull and there are small chips. The basic body is very solid.
The frame is very solid.
The tire tread is good but the tires are old.
The hubcaps are not original
The chrome is original but not rusty.
The interior was redone 17 years ago and is very good.
The top shows its age and will probably need to be replaced.
The rear top mounting is separated.
The plastic windows are faded.
The front glass has a crack in the lower right corner of the driver's side.
Overall. this is an excellent example of a low production post WWII convertible. there were only 1744 produced.
Delivery is available for $2. 00 per loaded mile.

with any questions.
This would be a great mini project or use as is for a driver for fun and parades and sunny days.
