1985 Mercedes Benz 250 L Lang Limousine

This 250 L is a very rare survivor car that has not been restored but rather has been lovingly maintained and serviced over the years. It was originally imported to to the US by Robert Koslowsky. a Marine in WWII and founder of Great State Beverages (Beer Distributor) of New Hampshire. I purchased the 250 Lang out of a suburb of Boston. Mass. Presumably. this 250 has resided in the North East it's entire pampered life. The gentlemen I purchased the 250 L from regularly drove the car and performed extensive service on the car. see pics of invoices. He used it as a family car and enthusiastically told me how his son would use the 250 L escort family to and from Boston Logan Airport. He stated he would regularly drive the car on the interstate. I have drove the 250 L around town and have observed the following:

250 Gas Engine starts right up. Transmission Shifts Smoothly. Drives Smooth and Straight. Brakes Properly and Straight.

The A/C has been converted to R 134 according to records. The blower switch needs work to test unfortunately.

Tires have plenty of treadlife left

Original Books. numerous service records and import documents (see. pics)!

Original First Aid Kit is Unopened!

The Interior is in great condition! Quite honestly. I did not have it cleaned. It really looks great and. after a professional detail. it should look amazing!

Being a New England car. there is some rust as documented in the Picassa Photos. However. the rust can easily be repaired by any competent body shop.

Glass is all in great condition and the chrome and stainless trim present well!

All things considered. this 250 L is an amazing find! Mechanically. the car is very sound. The Interior is in excellent condition and. importantly. all of the rare parts (like the jump seats) are present with the car! A nice interior detail. a respray and some body work and a little sorting and you'll be the proud owner of an ultra rare Lang w 123!
