1962 Jaguar Mark II Saloon

You're looking at a stunning 1962 Jaguar Mark II Saloon in excellent condition. This was owned by a local collector and stored in a climate controlled facility. She's finished with the midnight blue exterior with Saddle leather hides

This Saloon was totally restored and took 2 nd place in the JNCA juding with a score of 99. 3 points out of 100. Also took second place in the Visalia Concourse and second place int he Greater Valley Concours in Fresno. CA. 2 nd place in the British meet in Fresno.

Restoration was total with the following items complete.

Engine-completely rebuilt with new pistons. bearings. valves. ect

Transmission- updated automatic Borg Warner

Brakes-Newlines. pads. master cylinder. vacuum assist unit

Battery and tires both NEW

Rack and pinion steering- replaced with recirculating ball

Radiator- rebuilt and enhanced

AC- in trunk-new compressor. dryer. lines

Rubber-All new gaskets. grommets. seals. ect

Paint-Midnight blue-concourse quality job-body was stripped to metal. all corroded part replaced. Body is laser straight

Interior All new leather reclining seats. headliner. door panels. carpets.

Wood- refinished

Radio is original

All new chrome

All new wire harnesses

The MK II with the 3. 8 liter engine of 220 HP was probably the fastest production saloon car in the world during the early sixties. with a top speed of 125 mph and 0 t 60 attainable in 8. 5 seconds. The Compact MK II Jaguar weighs approx 300 pounds. has four wheel disk brakes. and was in production from 1950- 1967.
