The name Mercedes has the ability to stir emotions and the SL range of cars are some of the beautiful cars ever developed by any manufacturer. Add to that their astonishing ability to have virtually no depreciation one can see why they are some of the most sought after cars in the world.

In total. around 25. 81 190 SLs were produced between 1955-1963 with around 70% of these being delivered to the USA. It is said around 250 original RHD cars survive today. making this a very rare car indeed.

This Mercedes 190 SL roadster is a matching numbers car with matching hardtop. It is an original right hand drive car having been exported to South Africa when it was new.

Included in the history file is a copy of the original Mercedes Benz delivery document and all other relevant information are with the car.

The car remained in South Africa for 35 years until 1993 when it was flown to Germany and then came to the U. K. via Holland and was registered in this country in April 1995.

All the numbers match and the car is in superb order throughout and this manual car is one of the nicest we have seen.

It has served the previous owners (owned since 2003) as a superb show car over the years. fully Restored in the 90's before arriving into the UK and winning many concours awards since (list to follow) today it is in immaculate condition underneath. The paintwork is showing signs of age but still presents incredibly well.

A well known car in the South Yorkshire show circuit having won countless awards.

Complete with a vast history folder and owners manual

A fine investment vehicle. prices are continuing to rise foloowing the sucess of the 300SL as an ivestment vehicle.
