Launched at the 1961 Geneva Motor Show the Jaguar E-Type was
nothing short of a revelation. With its heady blend of supercar
performance. breathtaking styling and low price tag the newcomer
left rivals reeling and customers clamouring while early sports car
racing success at the hands of Graham Hill and Roy Salvadori
amongst others; helped cement its reputation.
On offer is a complete bonnet and rear tub for a series I or II
Jaguar E-Type Roadster of the 1960's. The bonnet comprises of the
main centre section. both the near side and off side panels. the
two inner panels. the lower nose section and the front frame. The
rear tub is believed to be from the restored E-Type Roadster which
was completed on behalf of the charity BEN and then auctioned some
time ago. Price Guide: £3. 00 - £5. 00
